My boy is very slightly assymetric on his right shoulder (slightly more of a dip than the left). I have been using a wow korrector pad for past 3 months and he has very nearly levelled up. It was his left side that used to be lower but with the korrector this levelled up and came up more than his right side! So adjusted the korrector to build his right side up.

I am currently using a borrowed wintec pro isabell in wide which is the old style, before they were adjustable and is flock without the korrector. This sits level so maybe his assymetry has finally levelled up? He goes in it really well.

I am looking to purchase a new flock saddle in the wintec pro dressage but my concern is will this settle to his unlevel back so will become unlevel also? The saddle I am borrowing has settled so obviously not settling to his shape as a new one would. Am I better getting cair as this doesn't settle? Reading the negative comments about cair on here is putting me off cair though?!

Any advice would be appreciated!! I'm confuzzled and don't know which saddle to go for!!

I had a very good saddle fitter out about 4 months ago who recommended the korrector pad under my current T6 thorowgood cob saddle. I have been ringing and leaving messages for the past month and she is not returning my calls the last I heard was she was poorly.

My boy had started napping and working terrible in his saddle with the korrector and without. He tells me in no uncertain terms when saddle not right (he turns his head and bites my toes too!!) was despairing trying to get hold of saddle fitter so borrowed a friends wintec dressage. He was instantly like a new horse and has been for the past 4 weeks in this borrowed saddle so was just going to buy the same type and size of saddle and when finally get contact from saddle fitter then will get her out to check. Sounds like cair is out though!

i have had 2 saddles on two different horses with the cair system, both found them too hard and unforgiving, to the point of objecting to even having the saddle put on!!! I now would rather ride bareback round badminton than use one on any of my horses!!!
