Calcification of soft tissue ...experiences?

Mine had this on her poll - a calcified nuchal bursa. I've posted on here about it if you search for that title. She had an operation to remove it as she hit it again and it became too sensitive for her to bear a bridle. The operation was very successful, but then she became unlevel and that was probably because we'd sorted one problem and then highlighted another which had been hidden. It took the vet a long time to diagnose it, but eventually he injected her spine and she's been brilliant since then - better than before the operation. We still don't know what the problem was in her back because the x-rays can't get that deep, but whatever it was the injections seem to have sorted it. Still waiting to see if she'll need more injections in the future, but in the meantime we are working in strengthening her back while it's not hurting.

Thanks for the reply, I am working on strengthening the back at the moment, it seems to be warming up that is the important part, I need to give it lots of time to work in before pushing and then its like nothing is wrong!
