Curragh carron oil has always been recommended to me, and I thought it was just linseed oil with a little extra calcium added. Looking at the ingrediebts for the first time (despite feeding it for years!) it's mostly made up of a calcium hydroxide solution. Could this be affecting the magnesium uptake of the hoof supplement I'm giving?
