Caledonian saddles. Has anyone used them?

What are they like? are they reliable? are they comfy?

Not looking for anything fab at the mo but have been an adjustable one of these.

Any comments?

hi i bought one a few years ago,they might have changed now but the one i had was not good,it didnt sit right and i found the girth straps too far forward and i found it very uncomfortable.in my opinion go for a wintec there worth the extra few pounds

I had one for starting a youngster last year and it was actually ok!! looks very smart, people couldnt tell it wasnt leather! very comfy to ride in and fitted my tb nicely, especially as she went from narrow to medium to medium wide in the space of 6 months!!

I used to sell these and frankly, don't waste your money. Spend a little extra on either a thorowgood or a wintec - you won't regret passing them over!
