Thanks! it was a lucky shot one day out walking - I used to live on that hill in the background.

I knew I'd have to withdraw if it came to it so no biggy - I wasn't going to enter originally because of running it but figured I can always back out if it gets to the point where there is a conflict.

Omg I have sent one lot over, doing a second lot now ( I have too many dogs and too many pics!) This is really hard to decide which pics to send!

So.....Im ashamed to say I still don't understand :o, are these pics to decide for a January calender slot in 2012 ?. Are there 2 dogs per month featuring ? or are you deciding for Jan and Feb, hence G mentioning to Vizzy, she can still enter for March.

I may actually change it from adopt a dog to "my mams rescue", so there is indeed no mistaking what it is. :p

Decided to save photos of the overgrown rat for next month (She shredded a toilet roll ALL OVER the house soooo I'm in the huff with her!)

I'm gonna have to try and get some more fancy ones though, B would have no chance against this months lot!

Sigh. You are such hard work :p There are two winners per month for several months. There is also a special cover competition. Entering for March is for the March vote. But there will be still two winners in March. Once all the winners are in, we will decide which goes best with each month (I assume).

I think anyway, Galupy will correct me if I'm wrong :D

I like the name change idea though. 'My Mam's Rescue' has a ring to it. :D
 
You're right Pix ...two photos win each month and then we'll get together and decide what actual month in the calendar they represent once we know all the winners. That way we can pick the best month for the content of the photo i.e. if we have a snow photo we can put it in the calendar for January even if it wins June's voting.

We accept new entries for the entire length of the contest but once we open voting for one month we can't add new ones because of the voting poll on the website so we'll save them and they will go up the next month. Photos that don't win this month will also be posted next month and so on and so on. Therefore Vizzy's (and the other new entries) photos will be added to the non-winners for March voting.

There will be a special cover contest but we haven't finalised yet if it will be a different vote or just another vote that pulls together all the winners to duplicate that month for the cover as you sometimes see (ouch, talk about a competitive contest!).

Make sense?

DB - you can only vote once each month but you can go back and change your vote if you do so before voting closes

These lot will go to desperate lengths! you have Lady la la offering money and bribery up for desperate votes. Galupy and PBS getting pofessional photographers in. Carey is obs using her womanly charms to pull the votes in ;) and Pix!....well her votes have just suddently shot up :rolleyes:, so Im guessing she has some get a "free sample" for clicking this buton hiddden on he site somehwere :rolleyes:

I will not stoop so low. Bubba will not become a "calender girl" if it means I have to resort to underhanded tactics or hair pulling and eye gouging or the seling of any kind of favours:eek: :rolleyes::p

Galupy I only voted for 5 dogs how many are you allowed to vote for ? I know you said you can only vote once but you can go back and change it if you want. If thats the case I would like to vote for more if I could.
