Call Again Cavalier..

"It's a really exciting concept and will hopefully bring new people into the sport," said Mary King, who is taking Call Again Cavalier to the four-star at Pau before this event.

ooo sorry missed that bit...that is interesting wonder why? looks like there may be strong comppetiton at pau this year.

Well the Freds' horses did Martinvast which was much sooner after the Olympics, I guess she has good memories of the place too. Wouldn't be all that surprised if the journo got it wrong though and it's Imperial Cavalier going as well/instead.

i bet she is taking him after all it was probably a lot less effort in hong kong than at burghley and cavvy is not getting younger so she might as well make the most of him x

He didnt do a three day event in the spring so has had a relatively easy year, just some ODEs and hong kong. Now the long format has gone it seems these horses can manage more events which is good. She must have a pretty strong chance of winning it eh?!

I didnt see Anrew Nicholson on the list i've got but at that stage Cavvy was the only olympic horse. Really good group going out i think

You did - the October issue of Eventing says that WFP has relinquished the ride on Parkmore Ed after the relationship between him and the owner was strained. He also said the partnership was only going up to the Olympics anyway.
