Ok so we have a 23 yo pony that suffers with copd and has had severe laminitis in the past but since being with us is managed and sound.
When I went out to her at lunch in her stabled I thought she was colic. Rolling around and not happy, so walked her round and put her in the sand school. In there she layed down flat out and didn't move on 2 occasions.
So got her up and have walked her round for 30 40 mins whilst trying to get hold of vet with no luck.
Now she's dragging me to grass to eat and jogging and being perky. Now I've put her back in and she seems back to normal.
I am inclined to keep a close eye on her and not get the vet out as she has improved?
What would u do??
