Calling All Dog Owners!

Done but my answers will give you a false picture. Ive ticked various "issues" while saying I don't play with or train my dog - she's 13, mostly deaf, blind and with suspected dementia and doesn't want to play, while getting occasionally spooked by people or dogs "suddenly" appearing. We manage her, eg don't let off lead and walks are often 5 minutes now. A training programme would not achieve anything here. Without the context I suspect you will conclude the opposite!
 
Thank you for participating! Not at all, all information is valid. The age group you have selected is the key here, that will mean no conclusions will be jumped to about your dog having 'issues' that can't be sorted by training. It is common for older dogs who are blind and deaf to become more reactive to dogs or people because to them the person/dog may 'suddenly' appear. It is understandable at that age that she has a quieter life and won't reflect negatively on your results. Also, the survey isn't designed to determine if there are 'issues' that aren't being fixed by training. If you are interested to read about the study when it is completed, I will post my dissertation on here (if I can) so you can see what comes of the survey. Things like 'does you dog bark at people' is a bit non specific. If someone knocks on my door the dogs bark, if I meet them on a walk they don't.
 
I could have done with a Not Known for age as I found mine on the street. I think I put him as up to 8, although he could be older or younger.

Also, we don't walk my dog, but he does live where we have stables and plenty of space to run round. It looks like he is housebound on the survey though.

I laughed at the thought of someone trying to train Hector. He just looks at you and does as he pleases :D He was so poorly when we got him that we just go with his plan :o

I put 0-1 for age but he's actually over 1. But he's closer to 1 than 2 (there was no option to put 1-2!)
