Calling all fans of sparkly things, to helps me shop for loads of sparkly things :D Anything sparkly you can find please, things like boots, reins, saddle cloths, jodphurs, hat covers, gloves just anything. But no browbands :) i have enough of those and if you show me pretty sparkly browbands i'll be too tempted to buy them :o :D Thank you :)

I bling up things with diamantes for people. I can make names, designs or motifs to add to any clothing like johds, saddlepads, rugs and tops. If its fabric it can be blinged... Even gloves :-)

I saw the cutest sparkly halter the other day at the feed store. I almost bought it, but my BO gives me a really hard time when I give into my inner sparkly demon.

whats a BO i mean whats it stand for :o i'm lucky enough that i can give in to my inner sparkly demon and the only thing that gives me a hard time is my bank account :o
Today i was soooooo tempted, i saw sparkly brushes! they were amazing! i kept passing them and stroking them, but i had to be practical and i needed a new grooming box so got that instead, so next time i go i can get new sparkly brushes to put in it :D

lol I dont like any of it, it all mings...but look how much it is! I wonder if theyve ever sold one :D

i'm drawn to sparkle, i make my own browbands though as my bank account would probably never speak to me if i bought them :o instead i buy plain browbands, sparkly stones and just put them on one by one by hand, it takes ages but i can have any design i want and lots of them :D i will take a picture of one i've done recently, my fave so far :D
and now i'm saving up for one of those amazing sparkly hats :D
Realistically, who would put something so expensive on a horse?! Even the most expensive royal horse will sometimes get the urge to rub its head on something, imagine that!

I have hunter types, no bling. Bling free zone me. Id be scared of getting mugged using that browband, although nobody would think they were real gems anyway I reckon.

I know someone on facebook that makes nice browbands with sparkly beads and semi precious stones and stuff. Much more affordable (nice but not for me, iykwim?)

i make them for myself really :D i have made 1 that i said i'll sell, but when it was finished it was just too sparkly and pretty to sell it :o
i know what you mean :) but i think its because i never had a pony when i was little like you see the kids on theor tiny ponies dressed in pinks and sparkle, i had riding school ponies, no stuff was my own apart from my boots, hat, gloves and bp. so now that i have loan horses to play dress up with, i'm letting my sparkly demon take over :D Its all red matchy matchy stuff and loads of sparkle! i bet i look funny dressing up horses 16hh+ in sparkle and matchy matchy and me being 5ft11 :D haha. oh well :D

Totally curious but do you use one of those hotfix applicators and the stones with the hot glue backing or another method? I would have thought most 'sticky' backs would fall off at some point or another?

You could probably faff around with your own hat with the hotfix method... Unless it melted the hat covering in some way...

:)

I was never interested in pretty or sparkly stuff full stop... Then I got old and morphed into someone quite pink, fluffy and magpie-ish... :D

Ohhhh this thread has inspired me to start blinging up some of my own stuff......my excuse is I now have a mare so I can get away with bling. Don't think my gelding would be best impressed if I blinged him up.
Anyway re the eyewateringly expensive browband...... I'll have 2 lol

re other sparkly things, I saw on here a few days ago someone posted a link to sparkly brushing boots. sorry, can't remember the website now :(
