I am now the proud owner of 3 shetland bridles but none that actually fit my little Welsh A head (too big on noseband and throatlash!! Does anyone know where I can buy online a black caveson noseband to fit a tiny head? I dont need the whole bridle just the noseband. I guess shetland heads are bigger than Welsh As!! All my local tack shops dont do them and no local saddlers to adjust (and a bit dubious that the noseband would adjust well anyway) Many thanks

oh how rubbish..... my Section A is in shetland stuff too but with the opposite problem, the nose band is too small and the throatlash is only just ok

is it that different brands are coming up different sizes, as the one I bought is a kincade. Perhaps we should have a measure and see if we can swop bits around!

i am having the same problem with headcollars!
my yearling welsh a was in a dinky, but outgrew it, god what a palaver to find something that DID fit.
the foal headcollars were too small but pony sized was too big.
i found a shettie sized one but it was too tight, so eventually i gave up until she grew a bit more!
will be interesting to see what does fit her bridlewise when the time comes
