Ok, so got meeting with RS/yard this week regarding Uni RC

So just beginning to get my stuff together, make sure I've got everything written down that I want to ask them, discuss etc. Was wondering if there's anything I can bring up as well the following?

*cost (obviously!)
*tution/which instructor teaches which group
*ratio of flat/jumping/hacking
*maximum in each group (I know what it'll be but what to check)
*friendly comps & everything that goes with that
*team training/chance to practice dressage tests for example
*insurance issues maybe?
*how much notice they want for who's riding in the lesson/allocation of horses
*cancellation notice for lessons etc

That's what I've got so far - anything else?

Oh and has anyone ever jumped a BUSA based comp course on grass before? Or have they always been in an arena?

Thanks guys

We always jumped on a surface in our BUSA competitions. However ours took place in Feb/March time and it was always freezing, snowing or raining so grass would have been impossible!

possibly ask about weight limits for the horses.

And no, never jumped on grass as all the league matches were held through winter and early spring.

I think that's most things covered. My uni riding club used three different stables - one for team training, one for those of us who weren't on the team and a different one for hacking
