Have any of you been told that the confirmed date for the Area 1 Horse Trials qualifier is the 16th June at Oatridge?

Nope, a week after BE seems silly. Found Oatridge ground too hard last year so prob won't be doing it anyway with D's arthritis. Stressage warmup left a lot to be desired too.

I'm doing Burgie that week anyway and I'm afraid BE comes before BRC at the moment.
I didn't enjoy Oatridge at all last year. As you say, the dressage area was apalling.

Are you doing Novice at Burgie?
Don't know how many D will make this year, start at Kirriemuir & see how it goes. Are you off to Kirriemuir? Not long now

Yes we got our dates last week from Area 1, Horse trials 16th at oatridge and SJ at St. Boswells on 24th - Highland show weekend! I know where I'll be!

Not sure yet. Will see how things go. Definitely taking youngster up to do RC 3DE at Burgie (if BE allowing it to go ahead - it's in the schedule). If I chicken out of the Novice with D then I'll probably do the PN2DE.
Off to Kirriemuir with at least one if not two of them. D doing PN to start off with and baby (if I'm feeling brave) will have a go at Intro.

I'll see you all at Burgie too! And Kirriemuir. Our horse trial qualifiers are at Kirriemuir and the SJ & Dress are at Brechin (area 22).
