Calling TB/ex-racer owners in the South West....

Specifically Dorset, Somerset, Devon,Avon and Cornwall....

Friend and I have been doing some thinking and before we get excited about the possibility of running some things for us all to do with our horses (who are woefully under-represented in the South West!) we want to know how many of us there are, and if there would be interest in getting together to have clinics,lectures,get-togethers and a few shows....

Its all just idea at the moment, but would be good to get a rough idea of numbers and how interested people would be in doing things with their horses - and ideas for things to do as well,we know we wont please everyone all the time,but the more ideas we have the more chance we will cover everything....

Cant say too much cos its all ideas and very much in the thinking stage - but if theres no interest then theres no point so we thought we'd start here !!!

You are right, it is a bit underepresented but I remember seeing something advertised in Taunton and at The Hand, Clevedon a couple of years ago.

What sort of events? I don't have tb but know a few that do.

Gloucestershire is fine, but the majority of things are going to be based no more north than Bristol (which is fine for Glous - I used to live near Berkeley - I know its not far!) and there are going to be (hopefully!) lots of things that are open to anyone who wants to come - all will be welcome!!

will PM details as far as I have them - we arent going too public just yet, its all very much in the planning stage at the moment and we are quite cagy about being gazumped !!
