Calling to all of the Australian horse fanatics!

I am searching for as much information about the horsey world in Australia, it doesn't matter what :)

I am looking to migrate to Australia from Surrey to start University and start my Veterinary degree, so I am looking specifically into Victoria (Melbourne) for some horsey information.

If anybody is able to provide me with this, please don't hesitate to reply to me as your help will be incredibly useful!

Thank you!

Calli

Also try eques.com.au. It's an online magazine, and has a forum as well, and is pretty Melbourne focused. I also think there is a Victorian forum (vichorse, google it and it should come up, I'm on my phone sorry) which is pretty active.

Thank you for the recommendation! My registration for Vichorse got declined for some reason, so I'll be sure to try the other one! :)

Hello!

I am really looking for some information on the best place to go to pursue a horsey career and lifestyle. I am looking to start up a rehabilitation centre from home for horses and possibly some other animals, as soon as I am able to after my studies (to become an Equine Vet). Ideally, recommendations on locations to research that fit the criteria of being basically as horsey friendly as possible, without being too far from the CBD, would be great.

Also, just some general horsey information about the horse world over there! From my previous experience it's a little different in the UK regarding agistment, for example?

Thank you so much for your reply! :)
