I've just bought my 2nd tb. He's being fed a scoop of conditioning cubes/alfa A lite and i cup of pink mash, adlib good hay, but to my mind He's a bit ribby. My 1st tb thrived on basic cubes and Alfa A lite with speedy beet in the winter. I know each horse is different but still not sure about this pink mash?? He's 16.1 & 11yrs old in light work. Turned out during the day with hay atm as grass isn't through yet.

The basic pink mash isn’t intended to be conditioning iirc, they do a different conditioning version for that - is that what you’re feeding? 1 cup won’t do anything either. If you want something fed in small quantities you’d do better with something like omega rice or equijewel.

I really like grass nuts as a base then add accordingly ie weight gain micronised linseed is excellent.

I have just started using Allen and page care and gain and within 5 days have seen a massive improvement so really rate this.
