Yep, i've just started a couple of mine on it and i was quite surprised how much it made when fully soaked. I know someone who used to feed scoopfuls of it dry to their horse, lord knows how that horse managed to digest it, must have swelled no end!

If you use hot water it only takes 5 minutes.
Can be used as a mash, very good for horses who struggle to keep weight on.
Please tell us you've added water to it???

Yes, it's like sugarbeet in that respect. 1 scoop dry, 2 scoops water and 1 scoop chaff. Leave for 10mins before mixing at up and chucking at horse.

Although I'm sure I read a post recently on here (using hthe search) saying that before they repackaged it there was no recemmendation to soak. Have also read articles saying it's not necessary to soak sugarbeet providing you don't feed huge quantities and the horse has access to water but not something I'd personally try!

I use their quite mix which states to get the best nutritional benefit soak 1 part mix to 2 parts water, but not that you must soak it before feeding, I mix with his sugar beat. I think they put this on all their feeds, its certainly on the quite cubes as well.

Calm & Condition contains a small proportion of unmolassed sugarbeet that is why it is recommend that it is mixed with water before feeding as products containing sugarbeet will expand.

All Allen and Page feeds are recommended to be feed with water and chaff
