Hi
Have a sec d 7 years old. Brought him last year, he was fed mollichaff calmer in old home (given the same as the show jumper for easiness)
The most plodding lazy horse when we had him. Now spring is coming he’s a little hot headed. I’m still nervous ridden bad fall with old horse. Am I over thinking it?
what do you all recommend? Any help out be greatly appreciated ?

You could try Honeychop 'Calm and Shine'.

However, if he is usually well behaved, I would look at the following factors:

-feed (what are you feeding him? Has this changed?)
-is he in pain somewhere (has he had his saddle checked and his teeth done)?
-Is he getting enough exercise/turnout?

If you are nervous, that can sometimes put horses on 'alert'. Can you lunge him before riding or ride with someone more experienced?
