Hi, i have posted about calmers before, and decided to go with global herbs throughbred calmer. However my filly has been on this for just over a month and i am not seeing any results, so ive decided to change, i have looked into equine america magnitude and naf magic, i was wonderin what experiences people have with these products (good + bad)? thanks.

No experience of these particular products but can recommend having a chat with Equimins, guy called David there seems to know his stuff and has been very helpful with getting the right product for my TB. Weezy on here used some of their products and after a really helpful pm from her I tried it too. That particular calmer didn't help much but David came up with a solution and touch wood, started to see a change quite quickly. It has worked out cheaper too so really chuffed!

We've tried alsorts on ours, nothing has really worked, I think the Carl Hester one may have made a little difference but not to sure. I spoke to the vet about this today as we have allot of race horses coming back into work soon, (they've had 16 wks off so should be fun!) she said she has not seen any evidence of any of the 'off the shelf' products really making a difference, if a horse is highly strung then thats thehorses nature and you cant change it. She said the things she could give us such as ACP and Sediline are iho the only things that really work but she wouldnt recommend riding on them....good hat a body protector for me it is then lol!

I have had my nervous gelding on Magnitude for about a month now and can see a big difference in him, he is a lot less on edge and a lot more settled with day to day activities which before he would spook and jump at. I noticed a difference within 5 days of him being on it, so I highly recommend it, although different calmers work for different horses. On another plus side it is good value for money.
