am going to go to the beach in a few days with some other liveries and last time rowan had a freak and totally spun out about going on the sand..(thankgod i had the foresight to use his western saddle, i would never have sat the lurch otherwise!!) then spent the next 10 minutes shaking all over before just about being able to trot...

this time i want to give him a calmer before we go....what sort would be best?? any thoughts?

Calmers take time to get into there system and dont gaurantee to work . Ive used loads . From thw liquid form in feed to mag ox . I cant imagine anything working in few days time .

I used oxyshot on my horse. Its given like a wormer and works in half an hour and lasts up to two hours. First time i used it it worked brilliantly not taking anything away from his performance. The second time the little bu**er spat it back in my face...lol. Will definately give it a go though. It was recommended to me by someone who uses it on a hunt yard for those horses that wont stand still. Give it a go you never know, it might just take the edge off him.
