Hi all,
So a very cute section a mare has come back for the summer and her paddock backs onto ours.
The problem my boy keeps running at the fence to get to her and beating up his field mates if they go near her, this is his usual behaviour towards mares he got in with one once and almost killed her so needless to say there is a perimeter fence 1 meter away from the original fence.
Now I got on him yesterday and he was Bonkers - he's usually slightly strong but he was the worst he's ever been stamping his feet, rearing, trying to bolt etc he was very naughty and It is all down to this mare.
He wasn't gelded too late - 4 years old.
I was thinking of trying him on vetvits equi calm? will this calm him down enough that he's not thinking about this mare all the time?
any suggestions
or cheaper alternatives?
thanks
