Has anyone used a calmer for aggressive behaviour rather than excitability???

My TB has one hell of a temper and I wondered if putting him on a calmer might help things a bit. Has anyone tried this?

If so which calmer would you recommend?

Ask in WVF about the different things for mares, could have an indifferent effect on him but work as productively!! Bless T.

i used stoppy mare for my mare which calmed her behaviour down maybe you could look at stroppy gelding?

My lad has an aggressive streak, so I'm going to try Global herbs rig calmer, as he can be very dominant/aggressive especially with mares in the vicinity (like he's showing off).

He's not a rig (blood test to prove it) but I thought maybe something in that calmer might work.

Good luck finding something. Let us know how you get on.

I put my mare on magic because she is very aggressive in the stable with other horses, it has not cured it but she is a lot better. i find having her living out has helped a lot too x

Well I've opted for Equimins Serenity..... main reason being, they offer a full money back garuntee if it does not work!!! So started him on it yesterday...... will report back when its had more time to get into his system and I begin to see a difference!

My 2 year old gelding gets very stroppy and aggresive when it is very windy or raining, i brought him a ball at xmas which you put pony nuts in and usually now if he is a bit upset and being aggresive i put him in the stable with the ball for a bit. This really calms him now as he seems to get all the aggression out of him by head putting the ball around the stable for ages LOL.

I already have one of those balls, however this is the horse, if given any different feed other than his usual. will colic, so ball out the question!
