calmers - the best fast acting one?

Hi, I have used the temparalax cos my mare was a manic traveller. It made a difference to her jumping tho, I had to use my leg a lot. lol. She is now fantastic in a trailer, but when I recently took her to a dressage comp, she was so spooky so I decided to try her on it again at the next comp. It did help her as we did a better test.

Oxyshot and NAF Magic works well on my boy for dressage stress when eventing and they don't have any adverse effect on his jumping (they are supposed to improve concentration but not sure if this has been scientifically proven!!)

I use V kalm on my Tb, it works in about 20 mins and seems to last for about 1 hr that's working on a 10 ml dose.

He is a tense devil and our flatwork lessons are either brilliant or awful depending on his tenseness.

I slipped some of the V Kalm in a handful of chaff just before his lesson and my instructer knew something was different in him, but hadn't guessed the calmer.

He was more relaxed and this showed in his paces and didn't offer a resistance when asked for something new.

Another livery uses it for travelling issues. I must say its blooming brilliant.

oxyshot is fab if you time it right - works within the time scale given but wears off like you've flicked a switch

magic is fab but makes them a little dull

nupafeed is the best - you can tune them really well on it - just a bit longer term

There is a new one on the market which is awesome. I've tried most calmers over the years and this one really works.

Prokalm by science supplements. Feed 1-2 hours before activity. The effect is gobsmacking.
