Just wondering if anyone has ever tried this calmer?

My mare is sooo excitable and she's starting to make me a little nervous for the first time in my life..

I've tried Magic which doesn't work on her so don't think a magnesium supplement is the way to go...

Ideas for any others would be fab. She's basically got a bit of an attitude problem & is very wired, we are working on her schooling but I was thinking a calmer for a while might help?
 
I've had good results with Equine America So Kalm in the past (powder and paste). Calmers seem to be something that may work on one horse and not on another though, so you'll need to experiment! Tip - start with the cheapest!
 
It's So Kalm an instant one for like 1 day? I have a couple of tubes which I bought for hunting but havn't used them..They do a powder too?

And haha agree about the cheapest :P The problem is they take so long to kick in
 
nothing works on my mare,(wouldnt waste ur money TBH)BUT im told that oxy-shot is fab?dont ask me how it works as its just smelly water,BUT worth trying ..? 10 pounds in the syringe form?good luck!
 
i used oxyshot twice/....the first time woked a treat however when he spooked he nearly unseated me and scared the living pants off the novice rider behind me....

the second time i feel it didnt work at all..

i want a clamer for my boy as i feel his neveres get the better of him in particular when we go to the beach...its sad to say i enjoy the little S**ts moments....as its not malicous.....

I normally do! I love a bit of spunk and the excitement, but atm its a bit MUCH, and as she has reared and gone vertical, and flipped over backwards on top of me once, I'm starting to get a litttle jittery...Might try that Oxyshot thing.

Have you tried Relax me? Have two on it and seems to take the edge off the madness! Also Nupafeed is meant to be the business but cant swear to it as havent had personal experience of it.
