can anyone suggest a good calmer for taking the "fizz" out of a horse a bit! im wandering whether a calmer may help my horse to not be so high on adrenaline when hunting..?!
grabbing at loose straws here i think, but hey, worth a shot!
Hes currently fed on:
4 wadges of soaked hay a day (or as required, but never more as he doesn't eat that much!) given to him throughout the day.
a scoop of mix
1/2 scoop of chaff
1/2 scoop of nuts...
so nothing high energy really...
suggestions please

I feed the horse first relax me calmer and have been amazed by the results - after weezy posted about them. Ita a mag based which is what you need if they get sharp fizzy it settles the stomach as well . I previousally fed beta mag 12 which worked well (not as well as this one) and has recently doubled in price so changed

as per my post to someone else today - try the nettex carl hester calmer -they have really helped my horse -only used the syringes as he is a nutter out competing and a carthorse at home!! worth a go?
