Calmers

What is it specifically you want a calmer for? or just generally?!
I had quite good results with a calming paste for a stress head having just moved yard.

If he’s perfect at home and good to hack, it might just be lack of experience and he will settle the more he does “things”. If you can get him out in the trailer to boring things as well as exciting things the novelty will wear off.
I bought this...

I think it worked when I could get it into him, he wasn’t keen on the taste of it.

also because I thought he was going to be calmer, I was calmer and things didn’t go tits up. Obviously that’s difficult to instil that into a child and a fizzy pony.
You can’t use that if you are competing btw x

Total coincidence maybe, but my horse was the calmest she's ever been when on equimins hoof mender last year. Honestly it was like someone turned off her welsh gene ?.

Work. And less food.
Yes I would probably advise the same to people but I have him living out 24/7 (brought in only for attention, feed and work) and he's ridden or lunged most days plus pony club rallies and some low level shows.
He's having magnesium and salt in with his pink mash and powdered balancer. Hay in field plus a bit of grass left there.
I use to run my own yards and have over 30 years experience at horse management ?
its just so strange that he's changed so much so quickly for her.
