My apologies if this has been asked before but does anyone have any recommendations for some calming supplements that work?? We have a young mare who is getting really fizzy. She is not on much feed (cut this right down), just grass and hay at nights, but still getting fizzy.

Naf magic seems to work

Magnesium bases calmers such as Magic are worth trying, it works for mine. Expect to see results in 10-14 days, the other consideration is that the problem is hormonal..although I would expect that to be a more intermittent problem

Thanks folks.

I thought it was hormonal, but we have inseminated the mare. She is churning up her stable each night now and has a foal at foot. She never did it two weeks ago, so goodness knows what is going through her mind just now. She is perfectly fine outdoors but when we take her into her stable it is just a mess come the morning.

Just want to see if a calming supplement will work or not.

i have been using equimins serenity on my 3 year old and i noticed a more sensible attitude since using it...i also think it comes iwth a money back guarantee but worth researching

Magic works very well on my mare. When I rang the NAF help line they said I would know in 10 days or so if it was going to work or not, so even with an initial loading dose at least I would only have paid out for one tub of it if it was no use.
