Hi all, just wanted opinions on the Calmsden BE90 XC course? Only feedback I have really heard about it is that it is hilly, any others? hard course? Inviting?

I did it last year and thought it was a great event- probably more suited to those already confident at be90 level and wanting an up to height track to finish the season on, but very inviting. there's one big hill near the end of the course so need to be pretty fit.

Lovely course - undulations make it more difficult. I'd do it with a horse that was a bit more established at that level to finish the season.

Thanks for that link, the fences look nice but quite full up! It wouldn't be up our first 90' but we wont have a full season under our belt.. its just so close to us!

I'd say do it then but go schooling there before? And if you can't, just kick on.

On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being difficult and 1 is walkover, Calmsden 90 is (IMO) an 7. I can't help more than that!
