I have the isi3. Quality is grand and yes it’s secure it’s never moved. The Velcro sticks well but sticks best to plastic, I have it on felt and a jockey cap tho and it’s never moved.
I bought the V4Pro version. It is a a well designed camera to wear under the visor of the helmet and it takes a clear video.
However, it does only record for about 30 minutes, advert says up to 90 minutes. which I would like it to do on my daily road hacks. There is a 64Gb memory card so no problem with storage. Does anyone know how I can get a fully charged battery to record for longer than about 30 minutes?
Secondly the website mentions that it is possible to take single photos with it too but there are no instructions on how to do it.
Thirdly the Cambox app to be used on your mobile does not work at all and got very low scores in reviews.
So far I have not had a reply from Cambox on how to get it to record nearer the 90 minutes although I have sent them emails. I have also tried the chat on the website but nobody replied after I waited for an hour. Very poor after sales service so far.
You might need to reduce the video quality from the top one to less pixels (?) then you will be able to record for longer.
My first V4Pro didn't work properly (faulty battery) but they sent a replacement before I had sent the faulty one back!
Try their chat on the website - I found them very helpful
jnb - I tried their chat but they didn't reply to me so gave up after waiting for over an hour. I have also emailed them twice.
There are no instructions on how to reduce the video quality.
it's in the app - settings
I have always had someone asking if they can help me if I go onto their website to look at cameras.
try on your phone in case you have pop ups blocked?
Unfortunately the app doesn't work. I downloaded the latest version to my mobile. Mobile can find V4Pro but it can't open the app. How else can I change the settings on the camera? There is nothing on the camera to work it except for power on/off, recording on/off, WiFi on/off.
I can watch the 30 minutes video on my laptop from the SD card, very good footage.
I just can't open any settings for the camera as the app doesn't work. I got a newer model Sony Xperia.
Very annoyed with the after sales as they were very quick pre sales to chat with me.
I have had one contact with them when it was suggested to charge the camera from the power bank instead. I couldn't see how that would have improved the battery on the camera. Did try it and of course NO difference.
