Came 2nd and 1st in combined training today.

Very excited and pleased with my little mare today.
Our first test went quite well - a little pop over a cross pole in the warm up for the dressage woke her up a bit! We scored 69.5% in that test. We had a fence down in the SJ - we found the distance in the double a bit short and rolled the 2nd part - I didn't know my dressage score at this point and so thought we'd blown it so I was over the moon to hear we came 2nd.
In our second test we scored 67.7% and also had a fence down - this time because we were going a bit too fast and flattened a bit over a parallel. We were still good enough to win the class though so a very successful day for me and Jenny!

Thank you - I've had such a rollercoaster with this horse its great now things are starting to go well. We are even planning our first bsja show in a few weeks time.

Thanks - there is an intro show at Richmond in October so we are aiming to go to that unless I'm rota'd on at work (may have to swap as really want to go). I've heard the courses at Richmond are always up to height so might be a bit nerve wracking though LOL.
