Happy saturday 👋

Can you all recomend a camera for keeping an eye on dogs when they are alone?

We want to try to start going out for dinner etc as a family but as two members are disabled and dont work they are with them all the time. So its a case of slowly leaving the four of them. There are loads of cameras around, just wondered if you had any you prefer and why.

Not for dogs but I have Tapo cameras set up for my pets and also ones outside as security cameras.

Tapo do an indoor one with a pan / tilt function. It has motion / person detection that can be turned on and off as well as the ability to speak through it. You can turn the alarm function off as well. I’ve been very happy with it - it connects to your WiFi but you can view it when you’re out and about using 5G / 4G.

I’ve got a Tapo , it’s really easy to set up and use and not expensive. You can speak to them through it as well, I got mine through Amazon this is it

We have several Eufy cameras outside and a doorbell. We are very happy with them, the picture quality is excellent. They also do indoor cameras.

We don't use a camera, we use the Alfred app. We have it installed on our phones and tablet so use the tablet as the camera and can check on them and talk to them while we're out.
