A day of sadness and yet lots of laughter in the yard today. There was never a dull day with Wee Bell around - unless he was doing flat weights then he was a grumpy little sod!
This weekend holds a Ball in his memory at Aintree. All proceeds are going to the IJF for the fabulous work they did for Bell's family, bringing him home and for many many other jockeys. One of the most fantastic gifts given for the auction is a wonderful picture of Frankel that has been signed by both Sir Henry Cecil and Tom Quealy.
