Im not sure about your area but one of my Riding Clubs organise the one I have been on for the last two years. So maybe search your local riding club websites?
I don't know of any riding clubs apart from the pony club but im too old for that.
I thought it would be fun, iv never been on one before and currently have a suitable horse i could take.
How far is it to Kent, well actually East Sussex, Plumpton near Brighton?
You would absolutely love our Adult Camp, me and _Gina_ are going again next year.
How good a rider do you need to be to attend the camp at Plumpton?
I'm still very much a 'newbie', I rode as a child but have only just returned to riding and have got my first horse after a year of weekly riding lessons.
I'm finding that having a 'real' horse is a bit different to riding school horses - so having to relearn to ride. Not too much kicking required
Seriously you would be absolutely fine! There was one girl last year who hardly even rode her horse, spent most of time leading it, even did the clear round jumping in hand. Up to someone who was doing Novice Eventing. It really doesnt matter, you do as much or as little as you like, we have found it very friendly!
To be honest, I think it would do you the world of good, as the lessons are great (you can have two a day), and its all horse time, if that makes sense. Me and my sister (_Gina_) oh here, would look after you!
If you want more info PM me. I know next years camp isnt on the website yet but I can send you loads of photos of the last two years?
my riding club holds camps at Pontispool, near taunton and Stockland Lovell near Minehead but both these venues hold their own camps. Look on their websites for details. You must go, they are brill
Having lots of 'horse time' sounds great, I've only had my horse for 4 weeks now, and the last week has been awful with the weather - roll on springtime
