Well I shold seriously have taken a before photo shouldn't I.

All the proud fleash/scar tissue has gone and we now have pink healthy skin edge with black but still healthy looking skin. Not sure it the hair will ever grow back but will keep going until we finish the tub which looks a long way off yet.

Most dramatic changes I've ever seen any horsey product make. I may well be a convert. Must sting a bit though as Atty is none to keen on having it put on, poor boy. Either that or he's just funny about having the scar played with which could also be true.

Oh and the black art about applying correctly, the instrcution booklet just said to apply twice daily in this situation which is what we have been doing. Some how it hasn't clogged up boots or bandages.

Yes Spans it's the one on his front leg, to start with best description I could come up with for it was dried stuck mud but now that's all gone and we have what appears to be nice pink skin.

I just went for the £10 small pot and there's still lots left.

Could be worth a go. I am impressed with it, will be over joyed if the hair grows back but there's no sign of that so far.

This is exactly what my experience was also, with using Camrosa on proud flesh. I was totally amazed by the results - the horse I used it on DID grow back the fur so just wait and see and you might be even more impressed.

would you reccomend giving it a go for my scar face (and legs for that matter!) of a horse??? as that shows no sign of hair growing back yet either

Have look on their site , I'm sure on the nose ones it would be fine, would just worry about the one near the eye. Although it doesn't smell particularly.

Cold be worth a shot?

Ali, hope you don't mind but Ginn PM'd me and her box is full, so here's my reply to her before I lose it.

"Hi there Ginn, I've been avidly reading your progress reports and am really pleased with how you are getting along - I'm sure you are too.

Ye, I have never touched sarcoids unless they move or grow. I can see how this one would be a bit of a nuisance if the girth is interfering with it. Can't really say how long it would take to come off as some of the ones I've dealt with have fallen off within a couple of days and others have taken a longer. You'd have to ride bareback during this time as I believe the Camrosa does appear to make the area a bit sensitive. I only use the ointment - I never use the cleanser etc as I found that it seemed that it was this that the horses didn't seem to like - so I just stuck with putting Camrosa ointment on every couple of days; and that seems to work really well.

Let me know how you get on with it though - I have been quite fascinated by this stuff for a number of years now.

Thanks Tia - will give it a go and see if it helps. If it gets clearly much worse then I'll just have to get the vet up....
