I have used it for many years for lots of things and swear by it. What have you heard that's bad?

I used to use it on most things, have heard bad things re reactions but never any experience, now dont use it as not competition legal.

I used it recently after my mare got attacked and had nasty grazes on her backside, and a chunk taken out of her tail right at the dock. I'd never used it before but I am amazed at how much coat and tail has already grown back. I put it on the big graze on her quarters but not the little one, and the big one definitely has twice as much hair growth. I'm not sure I'd use it as an immediate wound treatment as my friend does. I've not used it for anything else either.

I think I'm in a minority and it had no effect on my boys sarcoids whatsoever! But certainly never heard of bad reactions etc I think it depends on the horse, like lots of things really they won't all work brilliantly on everything.

Derek Knottenbelt, the sarcoid expert at Leahurst, told us not to use camrosa on sarcoids at all - at best its useless, at worst it makes things ten times worse. He showed us some fairly horrific pics from owners who used camrosa against his advice on sarcoids. I don't know about its use for things other than sarcoids so can't say what effect it might have, but personally I don't think I'd use it on anything.
