Can a cocker spaniel safely deliver puppies sired by a husky

You plan on keeping ALL the puppies??!!! Seriously, you do know how many pups can be in a litter? Why would you want to do that?

I haven't seen anyone suggesting that you are breeding for profit, I have seen people who appear to have similar concerns to my own that you don't have the experience or animal husbandry skills to cope with a litter of puppies, which is why I would get the poor bitch spayed ASAP...
I suspect the vet has the same concerns which is why he suggested spay rather than mismate jab. Of course if the bitch was running with the OPs other dogs while in season she has quite likely already been mated by the male cocker and an other males owned. I despair !

I do have experience with puppies I’ll get her the jab but not spayed i bred terriers (but they are all spayed and neutered now) I kept all the puppies from that litter I had 2 terriers now I have 4 once I breed her with my other cocker spaniel next year I will keep the puppies I have the money and the space they are the best hunting dogs I’ve ever owned why wouldn’t I keep the resulting puppies from their litter? Owning a lot of dogs isn’t new for me when I was growing up we always had 14-15 dogs at a time mostly hunting dogs like greyhounds beagles and terriers

She didn’t I know for sure because I only have 1 uneutered boy the rest are neutered and he was with me when she escaped

Get the Alizin injections and save your poor little dog a lot of trauma.

Its quite likely with a young bitch mated to a much larger sire like a Husky that a csection will be required.
You'll need to check local costs with your vet for this- pretty much all canine emergency c-sections happen after hours so expect it will cost several hundred pounds.

If you plan this also you need to get ready for having to feed 6-12 puppies every 2 hours and keep them indoors under a heat lamp for several weeks. Because at this age if she needs a c-section the mother will also usually reject the pups.

Keeping this litter would be a terrible idea for the record. It is pretty much the definition of irresponsible back yard breeding and a terrible choice of breeds to mix.

I hope your a troll for the animals involved sake. But sadly this could be a real post.

I never intended on her getting pregnant and when I do breed her i wanted it to be with my boy cocker spaniel not a husky I wouldn’t even get a husky if someone offered it for free not a single drop of loyalty in them I had her locked away in a stable but she jumped out like 3 days later since all my dogs are loyal the fences I have only keep horses in not dogs they go under or over

Why did you have her locked in a stable for like 3 days/why did she run off if she is so loyal/you don't need to keep your dogs fenced in?

That cocker looks extremely young to me? Go careful, if shes to young she could need a cesarean or have further problems specially with a bigger dog.

During certain days of their season a bitch will run off to find a mate. She needs to be somewhere safe where dogs can't get to her and she can't run off. She clearly isn't happy in the stable if she jumped out. Sounds like a pack of farm dogs?
