can a moterhome pull a horse trailer?

ok really stupid question i think everyone is guna say know but we dont have a 4x4 so can a 4 birth moterhome pull a trailer? lol
for 2hours

I'm sure it could but I don't think I'd want to try it for the first time with a horse in the trailer. I would think some practice would be required. Plus, the total length may exceed what you can drive with a normal driving license.

I've never seen this done, but I imagine it would depend on the weight the motorhome is allowed to tow in the first place and the size of its engine.

Depends on what vehicle is the motorhome mounted, but certainly the bigger ones can.

Not an unusual sight here in France, ideal for three day shows.
Wish we could afford to do it.

Depends on the drivers driving licence and the weight of the tow vehicle and rated weight of the trailer.

I have a pal who does just that as she travels to endurance rides. However I have no idea how big her motor home is!!!

Back in the days before 'posh living quarters' were the norm in a horsebox, my boss used to tow a caravan behind the horsebox.
