I've had my gelding on a vitamin and mineral supplement for roughly two weeks now. A few days after starting the supplement my horse seems very well and has been expressing this. He appears to be so full of energy. Jogging in and out to the field. Bolting and squealing when head collar is released. To ride he has also started jogging and wanting to go when he sees a nice run ahead of him. The other day I held on to him when he got to a nice hill in the woods and he started catapulting through the air! He's also leaping everything he can when out hacking. A simple step over is now a big exciting jumping despite only walking. He never used to be so lively to ride! He has also not long come back in to work after having the winter off so could be feeling fresh?
Could the supplement be affecting him?

Could be but sounds like it's in a good way.. :) unless you you don't like whizzy horses... I kinda do so I'd be over the moon!

It could just be the coming back into work but supplements can affect them. My sister's tb is on magnesium and it makes a huge difference to his behaviour and how calm he is.

check what is in your supplement, our first pony (for the kids) was very sugar sensitive and i was unable to give any feed or supplements at all as it made her very spooky
