I look on there regularly and luckily they are all too far away 'cos I'm a sucker for an oldie. I got Indie from Bristol Dogs Home after I saw her in the found section of Doglost and it definately gives me the warm and fuzzies knowing she's got a comfy home to live out her years. Everyone should do it ....who needs a puppy when they can have a batty old lady

I agree and have only just found this site, I try to donate what I can to others as well as make up sos collars etc for the local GSD rescue to sell to raise funds when I can.
Sad to see one of the dogs who's owners have left the dog behind because they have emigrated, the dog is 11 so they had the dog all that time as a member of the family and then up sticks and off!
I am a sucker for the dogs too and I can't understand how people can just leave them, my dogs are all rescues and were neglected or abused, they have the life of riley now and are on a barf diet, get lots of walks no matter what the weather is doing and want for nothing, they are here with us for the rest of their days.
Well done for giving Indie a nice home, Oz
