The pony by the way is fine now this all happened in the early summer.
I took charge of some horses while there owner was layed up after an op. I normaly look after them 1 day a week and have done for years so know them prity well.
One is a 30yr old highland pony. He is a lovely chap who has a heart of gold. His stable is super clean and I normaly change his rug with the door wide open and he waits for me to tell him i'm ready to turn him out.
It was about July and I noticed he was making a mess of his bed, digging it all up and pulling the banks down. He was also rushing to get out his stable and reluctant to go back in. He seemed to be eating, drinking and pooing normaly. But something obviously wasn't right.
Anyone fancy a bit of sunday fun and try guessing what was wrong with him.
