Thinking of selling a drawing of a grey Arab. I don't have one, so seems a bit random up on my wall! Quite liked it, so it has stayed, but new house means I'm having a bit of a decor change. Here's the pic -

Any idea of value? I've no idea?

Have a search on eBay, you could auction, maybe set a reserve. If its an original rather than a print will obviously go for more. Include the frame. I've just seen an original pencil drawing of a foal for £30 buy it now.

Did you do it zoon? I draw in a similar style and was going to start selling my animal portraits on eBay so just looking into the market at the mo.

Art is in the eye of the beholder! Ebay is a bit bargain bucket shop for this kind of thing. Do you have any private galleries near you? Research the artist beforehand. Think of local auction houses too - they'll be glad to give you a free appraisal - you don't have to take it.

speculating on cost without knowing the origins is stabbing in the dark. Do you know the artist or can you ask the in laws who they purchased it off.

Think inlaws would be upset if they knew I no longer wanted it - I feel quite bad, but finding it a new home is better than it sitting in the loft I guess.

why not say its a friends birthday or something and you would like to buy them something by said artist? x
