Seen this ad on dragon driving. My heart just bleeds at that poor dogs expression and the blasé attitude of the seller.

Maybe someone knows a local rescue who could offer to take the dog in.

Out with the old and in with the new aye, such an awful way to treat animals. Bet that dog has given his all.
 
Oh go on Paint me Proud - you know you want to. And you could show these picks to your parents, so they would totally understand. Just tell them we told you to ;) :D

seriously if i lived in my own place i really would go and get him. But with 3 dogs here already, and cats, chickens, ducks etc it would be a risk bringing a trained lamping dog in.

If i had an outdoor kennel to start him off in it would be different but that would be an ideal world (one that i dont live in *boo hoo*) :(
 
we will all speak to your parents.....granted im not in the same country... but its a sad looking lurcher... needing love...and food..and love.. and a comfy sofa.. and and and.....:o

I hope someone buys him who will have him indoors all snuggled up on the sofa. I have nothing against dogs living outside, but can imagine he just gets dumped in the yard.

can you facebook the ad? I'm sure he will tug someones heartstrings who is able to help?
 
that dog is absoluteley terrified of whoever is taking the photo - so so sad. Id readily have him but my 10yr old dog hates other dogs :(
 
There's plenty of Longdogs, Lurchers and Sighthounds needing homes on these charities that I support.
If any of you can give one a home that would be great.

I have a longdog, she was about 12 months old, she was abandoned to fend for herself, filthy dirty, full of worms and no hair on her,bleeding sores all over her, now she's a different dog with good food, love and security, she's blossomed into this

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah gorgeous, she looks a bit like my fawn girlie whippet (big outsized whippet) who I got from a rescue centre - she is the picture of happy contentment.

Well done Unicorn - don't these long dogs suffer so at the hands of senseless imbeciles? When I'm rich with a big house (!!!!!) I will fill it to bursting with rescued long dogs. For now, 2 fill my small house. DO so hope someone rescues that poor terrified dog X
 
I saw this advert about a month ago and really wanted to rescue him then. He looks absolutely terrified and if I didn't have two large greyhounds already, I'd go and get him straight away!
 
I'm no help :( I already have cats that bring back live animals (setting them free in the house!) I don't need a dog that does it too :o Though saying that my 2 dogs do occasionally find it difficult to catch said animals once released :)
 
Well he is advertising for birds but worryingly has ads up selling a chihuahua dog and mini yorkie pups and even worse wants a yorkie stud dog. People like this make me so mad, obviously just breeding for money.

What an attitude of can't be arsed with the dog anymore so will swap it for canaries instead. Such a shame, poor wee guy looks really sweet aswell.
