I am researching a EU directive and I have picked equine transport, anyone give me any info on what they aim to do? I have a rough idea but can anyone help make it clearer.

the gospel according the the EU is at ec.europa.eu
(where to look for stuff on bird flu)
so anything the each country does is an 'interpretation' of what is on the europa website (and the UK is reknowned for 'gold plating' eu directives to make our lives a misery)
so look at Europa to find out what the real directive states and then our own xxxxxx.gov.uk websites to find out what our 'civil servants' have done to them to make our lives impossible

PM me if you wanna know anything about the transport regs it replaces all previous transport regs nd came into force on 7 Jan. Or if anyone else wants info post here or PM me! There is some good info on Defra website.
