Hi

My daughter would like to go on a pony treking style weekend.

Does anyone know of any farm type place where we could go for one / two nights with a little bit of horse riding thrown in?

I'm not a rider so don't really want to go to one of those week long 'own your own horse' style places.

I'm based in Wilts if there is anything local?

Thanks

S

Hi I had a look through one of my magazines, as I have just been looking at them too!! I couldn't reccommend any of them as I have never been but here are a few that are all based in the UK!! And the horses are also provided.

I am also from Wilts and cant recall anything like it in the area!

Hope you find something, if you go let us know how you get on!!

Have been to Caeigo a few times (although not within the last 4 years) and had a great time. They've got very safe but quite forward going Welshies. Good, clean accommodation and the food was wonderful - especially the afternoon tea on arrival. Also been to Free Rein in South Wales but they're unaccompanied - fantastic for a small, competent group of riders - you need to know how to map-read - highly recommended. Neither of them are cheap though so you need very deep pockets!!
