It's a long story but in a nut shell, last year I brought a 6 year old w/b mare who was far too young and green for me, had 3 nasty falls last summer due to me giving incorrect signals which resulted in losing lots of confidence, decided to have her schooled at trainers where she did well I had lessons on her, all going well until December when she started to nap when schooling, & going vertical which shook me up, she behaved like this with the trainer too, then we had snow so she had time off, which was a relief thenstarted long reining and lunging her again and finally admitted to myself I'm too terrified to ever get on her again, my trainer will have her back but has told me she really needs a more experienced rider, its a bitter lesson to learn and I could really kick myself for having done it especially having seen novice riders outhorse themselves lots of times, so I'm not sure where to go from here, she hasn't been ridden in ten weeks, I can't sell her from mine as I can't ride her, I do not want her going to some one without experience, as she is a quirky mare that needs very regular consistent work, I really would like her go to a yard be schooled then sold when working well, but I don't know anywhere and don't want her ending up at a dodgy dealer, I don't have to sell her as I have enough land to keep her (already have my first horse who is retired) I would rather keep her then let her end up being passed from pillar to post. So if anyone knows good sales livery.

Would your trainer take her to sell or at least get her back into work and recommend somewhere for her to go.
I assume you have done all the usual checks to rule out a physical reason for her behaviour.

We had her all the normal checks done in September last year teeth, back , saddle all fine I have booked a highly recommended back specialist to come and check her over in 2 weeks and vet is coming next week for booster so will have chat with her again, no trainer won't sell on from her yard ..

Whereabouts in East Anglia? Becky at Ashen Equestrian Centre does some sales livery and will be fantastically fussy about who buys the horse, or you could try Hazel Heaton at Nine Acres Livery (Matishall) who also does a little bit and is happy to get them out and about before selling ....... I have also heard her turn down potential buyers because the seller wanted a different type of home!

If they can't do it at the moment their contacts between them cover all of East Anglia!!
