Thought my feet had been a little cold recently and now know why, i have a hole in the sole of both my boots, so they are fine if its dry, but in england thats not very likely.
So its time for some new ones, these are boots for day to day use, mucking out etc.
Can anyone reccomend (sp) me some not expensive good boots?

I have Musto Innovation short boots. They are THE best pair of boots I have EVER worn. I bought them from Equestrian Clearance, something like £30 instead of £90 and I wish I'd bought 3 pairs. They took a few weeks to break in (think blisters everywhere and swearing I would send them back to Musto!) but once broken in, they're fabulous. Warm feet, great for just being on yard, and great to ride in too. They do them with laces or with zips. I have the zipped version but think I'd have the laces next time, as if you wear more than one pair of socks, they give around the ankle and obviously with a zip, you can't make them tighter. Not sure about the lace version but the zip ones have a section of breathable material on top which means they're great in summer too. However..don't go walking in deep puddles as not very waterproof thanks to the breathable bit! On the yard I tend to turnout wearing wellies, as our fields are v wet and boggy, muck out in wellies if I'm messing about with the deep litter, but do everything else in the Musto boots.

They do matching chaps I think too though I bought Dublin chaps instead.
