can anyone recomend a camara

sorry not really horsey but wondered if anyone can recomend a suitable camara,my camara has died & i,m looking for a simple point & shoot that can take good action shots,ie my daughter jumping ect.my last camara was hopeless as when i pushed the button it would take 2-3 seconds to take the shot =horse already landed moment gone! i have about £150 to spend.thankyou in advance.

Mines a Nikon coolpix 3000. Is really good, has loads of shooting modes, is really good for jumping pics and takes good videos too. It was £100

Go to your nearest Jessops or camera shop. They won't rip you off and you will get good sound advice.

Jessops often have end of line sales. I got an excellent Nikon point and shoot for my daughter for about £120 in March, it is really easy to use and takes very sharp pictures.

I have a little Sony Cybershot and it's fab. I takes a great photo, really clear and crisp and has an anti shake built in!!!
It also has a video option and depending on the size of your memory stick can take up to 5 mins worth of action shots!!
I don't know allot about cameras but i found it easy to use and small enough to carry in your pocket.
I think i paid about £185 but there are different versions and it's now as cheap as £115!!
