Brown or black? And what length? I have a VERY nice brown english leather padded girth with elastic at both ends that I'm selling.

Or try Robinsons - their new catalogue has leather girth with elastic at both ends

i had a jefferies one which was nice quality and soft and lovely, but personally i think the wintecs are just as good as leather, and my boy is much more comfortable in his wintec

The treadstone ones are nice - shaped, padded and elastic at both ends. Not sure if too expensive though - they are about £60 but you can sometimes get them cheaper on ebay.

Otherwise I would go for the wintec or a stubben string girth.

I have two leather girths, one is brown from Townfield Saddlery, its lovely. The other is black, 42" (would sell) and from Risely Saddlery, which probably means it is Morris and Nolan, its very soft leather.

We have just bought an Elevator girth, for our new saddle as needed to be elasticated at both ends too, they aren't too expensive and are really soft and supple.

Echo that - mines a Treadstone one (48"/120cm thought - any good?) and it's just lovely. Really nicely padded, shaped, large surface area and elastic both ends (WHY is it so hard to find nice girths with elastic at both ends?
