Hi... Sorry this is a duplicate post... but (after the recommendation of another HHO) I have put my location in the title of the thread :)

I have been out of the saddle for 18months (at least) since the workload and studyload became to much to squeeze it all in... however, I have a big exam in 2 weeks and my final exam in June and thoughts are turning to getting back in the saddle. And I am excited

I rode for 8 years at a riding school and then had to give it up due to not having transport. I got back in the saddle at university and was part of the equestrian team (how I do not know?!), and rode for a further 4 years. I then had to give it up as above.

I'm looking for a decent, friendly riding school, where I can get back in the saddle and which may offer some small comps that I can possibly borrow a RS horse and have a go (in the ideal but not essential). Another important factor, is that (hopefully) in 2/3 years is that I'll be in a position to finally buy a horse, so if possible, somewhere that would allow me to help/tutor me on stable management and the like. I did used to help out at my old old RS, the basic knowledge is there somewhere but needs digging out and very rusty!

I'm in Teesside and Tyneside (long story) and can travel to either or in between.

Thank you for reading and I promise to post pictures of when it occurs!
