I am looking for a 200g rug with at least 1200 denier outer, but the key thing is a massive tail flap if possible

And it needs to be nylon lined, that's not asking for much is it?? :D

Axiom (available on Ebay) have large tail flaps. I've found that the 600D doesn't rip with mine. They are an Australian brand I think, they've been highly recommended by everyone that's used them.

weatherbeeta?!
tbh i've gievn up with rugs as i've not found one i'm 100% happy with - i like the WB tail flaps and the PE elasticated necks - so i'm making a WB templated tail flap and sewing it onto my PE rug :D sorted :D

Mark Todd do a turnout with a long tail flap and it has a reflective strip which has been really handy this winter. Mine is nylon lined too. Cost about £70 for a heavy weight classic neck, its been a great rug this year. Fit is lovely, doesn't rub or slip.

Ditto this, I have 180g fill one and is has a lovely deep tail flap. I use my castle lw neck on it and fits a treat. LOVE THEM :D also 1200D. Don't have any there at the mo but I'm sure if you emailed them, they could let you know if they have any coming in :)

I had wanted a weatherbeeter with the big tail flap until I noticed a mare doing a wee in one, it hit the tail flap & then soaked her tail & legs.
Put me right off

Have a look at Mark Todd rugs. the have a good sized tail-flap - by my standard anyway! - and are great rugs in every other way too. and you can get detachable neck covers which makes them so much for flexible than fixed ones.
