Robert Judd of Juddphurs saddlery is absolutely fantastic, and I highly reccommend him. Very thorough and very reasonable call out fee. He checks all our horses on a regular basis. I can get his no. for you if you like?
wouldn't go there if I were you I know a lot of disapointed people and horses with sore backs after he's been! Liz from mill saddlery is excellent, she does the ILPH's horses. Will pm you her number.
avoid bob at all cost ,
liz i have heard is good as were granville saddlery, they had nothign to suit and they never pushed me, and have heard lots of good about them.
Bridlepath are really good they have fitted ten horses on our yard .Judpurs are not qualified to the same standards. He had to give my friend her money back she was sold a ill fitting saddle. She had two master saddlers/ fitters out and they both confirmed that the saddle did not fit properly.Another friend had to get hers altered within weeks of buying one from him because it didnt fit properly.I have been told that although he has qualifications to make saddle he is not qualified to fit.
I had a mare that the guy from bridle path came to fit and he done an awful job, her muscle wasted away as the saddle was too narrow and she ended up with a lot of ridden problems because teh saddle was too long and making her sore.
Haven't used the Bridlepath since Liz moved to Mills Saddlery, she has two other fitters working with her now who she's trained up so should be pretty good to.
